What is Under The Tree 2: Hedgerows?

Under The Tree 2: Hedgerows (‘UTT2’ for short) is a sequel to our game Under The Tree, a first-person dungeon crawl inspired by the original Wizardry first released on the Apple ][, simplified to suit the screen and controls of the Playdate.

Is there some backstory to the game?

The evil villain Ugnet is back at it again, and it's up to you to stop him and his horde of Monsters! To defeat him you'll need to fight your way through to recover Ugnet's Bane from the deepest level of his dungeon.
